MD0630T41A Integrated 6mA DC RCD Protection Leakage Sensor Differential Current Transformer for AC Charger

MD0630T41A is a DC/AC leakage current sensor with high sensitivity, accurate measurement, small size, integration, digital output, UART communication, Modbus protocol, etc. The measurement DC current range is 2~15mA, the AC current range is 3~100mA, Type B detection is worth to be mentioned too.

The pin & cable dual installation methods can be used to set AC and DC leakage respectively. When the set current is reached, an alarm signal can be generated. The alarm value is programmable. Three-way output DC alarm, AC alarm, and AC and DC alarm. At the same time, the leakage sensor has a digital output function, which can read the current value of DC and AC, in line with TUV-IEC62955, CE-EMC standards.

MD0630T41A is a RCD leakage current detector, When an electric shock or leakage fault occurs in the circuit, the secondary side of the transformer outputs a mA level current (DC 6mA, AC 30mA), so that the equipment on the connected secondary line will be protected (cut off the power supply, alarm signal, etc.) 

This RCD sensor detects DC currents flowing in an AC system. For example, in electric vehicle charging stations or from solar panels. DC currents flowing in an AC system may cause a Type A RCD or a Type F RCD to be blinded. This RCM can be used to detect any DC current level above 6mA and its output can be used to operate a relay or a contactor to disconnect the AC supply, and display an error message on the screen of EVSE system, and wait for a user to reset the error. 

MD series Type B RCD is an ideal protection device against different leakage currents in applications of electric vehicle charging, photovoltaic systems (solar panels), industrial device, medical device, new energy, DC screen, fire distribution cabinet, IOT field etc.
