MD0630T41A-1 Cable Mount 6mA DC 30mA AC RCM Earth Leakage Detection Current Sensor for EV Charger

IVY developed a range of highly flexible Residual Current Monitor of Type AC/A/B/B+ for measuring DC and AC residual currents up to 100kHz, with digital signal output.


Charging of electric vehicles at a standard wall socket or a wall box requires protection devices against DC fault currents to avoid electric shock. Installed type A residual current circuit-breakers (RCCBs) are unable to identify and deactivate DC fault currents. IVY leakage current sensors offer the opportunity to save the cost and space for a costly type B RCD in IC-CPD or wall boxes.

MD0630T41A-1 is a cable type RCM/RCD leakage current sensor detects type AC/A/B/B+ residual currents, with features of accurate measurement, small size, horizontal installation and compact design, All components inside conform to AEC-Q auto class standard. The RCD sensor can be set separately for AC and DC leakage and has a digital output function. It can detect sinusoidal AC, pulsating DC, composite of multi-frequency as well as smooth DC residual currents. 

It output trip signal and have the function of monitoring AC 3-100mA/DC 2-15mA leakage current. When the fault current reach the threshold, it can output the signal and cut off the circuit via a latching relay or break. Meeting CE/TUV Certified and IEC62955 Standard. Residual current monitoring for electric vehicle of IC-CPD, wallbox and dc charger, solar inverter, UPS, Industrial device etc.
