MD0630T41A-1 EV Charging Protection RCMU Cable Type 30mA AC 6mA DC Residual Current Detection RCD Sensor

Charging of electric vehicles at a standard wall socket or a wall box requires protection devices against DC fault currents to avoid electric shock. Installed type A residual current circuit-breakers (RCCBs) are unable to identify and deactivate DC fault currents. IVY differential current sensors offer the opportunity to save the cost and space for a costly type B RCD in IC-CPD or wall boxes.

MD0630T41A-1 is an AC DC leakage current sensor also called residual current monitor/residual current device with high sensitivity, mA level measurement, small size, integrated design, cable/horizontal installation. When the fault current reach the threshold, it can output the signal and cut off the circuit via a latching relay or break.

"MD0630T41A-1" rcd protection residual current sensor is designed to detect even smallest residual currents. Together with evaluation units they are used for monitoring and protection of electrical circuits. for detection of residual currents in 1- / 3-phase AC systems

IEC standards residual current monitoring unit, its typical application is in a EV charger, for the detection of small both DC and AC residual current. Type A (RCD) + 6ma dc residual current module combination for EV charger pile protection, all-in-one highly integrated digital output. Applicable for the standard IEC 62955-2018 residual current requirements for RDC-PD. Applicable for GB/T 22794 and adapted to DC 6mA test.
