MD0630T01A-2 is an ultra-small EV RCD leakage current sensor, which has the characteristics of accurate measurement, high sensitivity, digital signal, push-pull output, and integrated design, measuring current range DC current: 2~15mA; Maximum AC current: 3~100mA (default threshold: DC 6mA, AC 30mA), Comply with TUV-IEC62955 standard, with CE-EMC certification.
This residual current monitor is intended for the detection of DC and AC residual currents in EV Charging Stations where such currents may flow under a fault condition. The RCD/RCM may be used to detect 6mA DC or 30mA AC Residual Currents in DC/AC, single phase or 3 phase installations, it is ideally suited for use with Electric Vehicle charging cables (Mode 2 Protection) and EV charging stations (Mode 3 Protection). The MD0630T01A can monitor DC (6mA) and AC (30mA) residual currents, it is connected in series with the AC supply to an EV and will provide a signal output if a DC current ≥ 6mA DC flows in the circuit.
