Product Details

Product Description

MD0630T01A-2 is an ultra-small AC DC residual current detector for portable ev charger, which has the characteristics of accurate measurement, high sensitivity, digital signal, push-pull output, and integrated design, measuring current range DC: 2~15mA; Maximum AC: 3~100mA (default threshold: DC 6mA, AC 30mA), Comply with TUV-IEC62955 standard, with CE-EMC certification.

This residual current monitor is intended for the detection of DC and AC residual currents in EV Charging Stations where such currents may flow under a fault condition. The RCD/RCM may be used to detect 6mA DC or 30mA AC Residual Currents in DC/AC, single-phase or 3-phase installations.

It is ideally suited for use with Electric Vehicle charging cables (Mode 2 Protection) and EV charging stations (Mode 3 Protection). The MD0630T01A can monitor DC (6mA) and AC (30mA) residual currents. It is connected in series with the AC supply to an EV and will provide a signal output if a DC current ≥ 6mA flows in the circuit.

Product Application

A residual-current device (RCD), residual-current circuit breaker (RCCB), or ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) is an electrical safety device that quickly breaks an electrical circuit with leakage current to ground.

It is to protect equipment and to reduce the risk of serious harm from an ongoing Injury may still occur in some cases, for example, if a human receives a brief shock before the electrical circuit is isolated, falls after receiving a shock, or if the person touches both conductors at the same time.7kW Portable EV Charger is a compact AC Charging station for use at homes, offices, and other residential locations for personal use only.

As the portable EV charger is small-size hence the leakage protection parts shall be ultra-small too. The MD0630T01A-2 is an ultra-small DCAC portable leak sensor with a triple output alarm and CE-EMC certification. Therefore, it can meet the needs of convenient charging of AC electric vehicle/EVSE portable chargers.
